This is the Vinyl Moon exclusive version of the full-length self-titled album from Inspired & The Sleep. The Vinyl Moon edition is pressed on blue & white marble or transparent blue & black splatter vinyl.
The first full album from the Southern California duo sees them locking in the indie pop-rock sound they've developed over their first set of EPs and singles. Singer Max Greenhalgh's earnest voice soars over groove-centric arrangements that utilize indie rock guitars, swoopy synths, and coffeehouse keys with equal enthusiasm. Their chameleonic instrumentation makes each track a new discovery, with Max's vocals and songwriting backbone acting as a surefooted guide along the way.

about
1. Right Place, Right Time
“RPRT is our anthem for forgiveness and heartbreak. It recollects a period in my life where I was deeply in love with an individual that, simply put, didn't feel the same way about me. I spent so much time, energy, and thoughts into resenting this girl and whoever she wound up with. This song is about the introspective dialog of predicting/hoping for the perfect time and place to communicate my apologies and best wishes. Letting go is ultimately the only answer in order to move on.”

lyrics
Used to worship the ground that you walked
I can’t hear, but I see you talking
On my flaws of my error
But I couldn’t seem to care
And I watched as you slipped away
Those last words that I heard you say
It’s not you, it’s me
But I’m sure not buying it
In the right place at the right time and I try to say
I won’t hate you anymore
In the palisades of a better time and I try to say
I won’t hate you anymore
I won’t hate you anymore
I won’t hate you anymore
I do hope that he treats you well
Your affection can cast a spell
It consumed all of me
And that’s no easy feat
Now I’ve held this weight on my back
Took each chance I could to attack
Now it’s time to let go
And I hope I can let you know
In the right place at the right time and I try to say
I won’t hate you anymore
You’re on holiday in the summertime and I try to say
I won’t hate you anymore
I won’t hate you anymore
I won’t hate you anymore
But don’t hang up the phone
Cause I forgot to say
I’m sorry for the damage I’ve done
And now that I’m alone
I’m trying to make a change
So I hope I’ve caught you
In the right place at the right time and I try to say
I won’t hate you anymore
In the palisades of a better time and I try to say
I won’t hate you anymore
I won’t hate you anymore
I won’t hate you anymore
